THE CURRENT HIGH SHERIFF
Welcome to the High Sheriff of Greater London’s new website. It is my privilege to be High Sheriff this year to support the Judiciary, the wider Justice system and our communities in Greater London. The last twelve months have been a difficult time for all. The Justice System in our capital, including the courts, the Metropolitan Police, the Probation Service, prisons and charities, have been similarly impacted by COVID. Many people have worked tirelessly to keep the Justice System going and to support people in their communities. I hope to meet as many people as I can, to thank them for their work and for what they have done to help others. I look forward to celebrating the extraordinary efforts and public-spiritedness shown by so many.

To recognise and celebrate the work people have done to support the Justice System, each other and their communities throughout COVID will be at the heart of my work this year.
Connect
This will be core to my work this year; to promote good citizenship in schools and an understanding of issues affecting our communities, especially people at risk of crime, victims, prisoners, their families, homelessness and those affected by food poverty.
